-Hikari-
Since I was a child I had never been afraid of the Dark. My sister was diferent, she was terrified of it. If there was one hint of darkness coming she'd cry or scream until we turned the lights on again. After awhile she would stop, though.
We were twin sisters, but we were ferternal. My name was supposed to be Hiru, but when I was a young child I had decided for myself that I would be named Hikari. My sister and I were close so she too changed her name to the oposite of mine, Yami. She was the dark to me and I was the Light to her.
It stayed that way for a long time, now I see it strange that she would be the one to fall into that endless sleep, leting her heart be consumed by the worthless darkness, since she was so afraid of it. Our parents were scared and therefore left us to die. I didn't like it.
Yami's skin had started to glow darker as the days went by. one night, when the moon refused to shine I had stood in the darkness and screamed,"If you infect me, will you let her go? If I let you in, will she be able to go free?" And after my words, came a girl with burning black hair, and dark blue eyes. She was beutiful.
But my anger over powered anything else, I screamed and yelled at this black haired angel,"What have you done to Yami?! why did you do it?! Do you know how much pain she's in?! She's growing darker by the days!! She..." and I continued to yell on and on until my voice was hoarse and I could not yell anymore.
This whole time, the girl had been listening to me and had sorrow wrighten acrose her face, so it made me finally stop and wonder if this really was the person who had done something to my sister. But then I remembered that tale.
There was a tale in my town, about a young blade bearer and his friends. One of the friends, a boy, had let in the darkness, because he believed it would give him strength. But it hadn't, it had taken his heart and tainted it in darkness. She could not trust anyone, except her sister that now lay in bed, slipping into that darkness.
looking at the girl, she smiled,"If you put me in a sleep, instead of my sister, and she finds a way to wake me, you will be made to swear you'll remove both the darkness from her and from me." The girl stared at me, exahsperated,"And if I were to agree to your terms, what would happen when she didn't succeed?" I looked at her eyes, dark as night, as I answered," IF she doesn't succeed, then you will have my heart, and maby part of hers." The girl trembled with exitement (but it will not be that easy) I had thought. So that same night I wrote a note telling my sister about the terms. I knew that, that night, once I fell asleep, I would fall in the darkness, but I was so sure that my sister would overcome all of it, that I did not hesitate to fall asleep, an endless sleep.

It's always there, though you never see it. What is it you ask? It's called DARKNESS.
